What is ‘Turn Key’ Finance?
‘Turn Key’ is a finance package that affords you the ability to have no repayments on your home loan whilst your house is under construction.
Who is it for?
First Home Buyers
Those who are caught up in the rental market and would find it hard to manage rent and loan repayments at the same time.
Second Home Owners
Those who have a current property and would like to build a new home to live in, but need to sell their existing home or will be renting out the existing premises once their new home is built.
Are there any conditions?
Normal Lending criteria does apply.
Deposits are required – however, equity in an existing property can be used towards your deposit.
How does it work?
Once your Home Loan is approved, the first step is to settle your land purchase or refinance your land debt.
A loan will be drawn down to settle the purchase/refinance of your land and then 5 progress draws will be made during the construction period.
Repayments literally commence when you turn the key to enter your new home.
No repayments are required during the construction of your home.

Gemma has 14 years experience working within the finance industry. Working 5 years for Island State, holding many roles from Member Chequing Officer through to Loans Officer. She then moved on and worked for 7 years with Tassie Home Loans as a Loans Consultant, Property Consultant and PA to the Managing Director.
Gemma has completed her examination administered by the Property Agents Board and is a Qualified Property Consultant, she also holds her Diploma in Financial Services (Finance/Mortgage Broking Management) and is a current member of the Mortgage & Finance Association of Australia (MFAA).
Gemma works hard to make the process of applying for finance as easy as possible, assisting you all the way from application to settlement.
